The Greater Ocala Woman’s Club (GOWC) is dedicated to serving Marion County through
volunteer work, fundraising, and community support, directly impacting
local charities and groups with our time and resources.
GFWC - Greater Ocala Woman's Club
The GOWC is a Non-Profit 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization. The Clubs’ purpose is to promote and provide charitable, educational and philanthropic activities that better the lives of our neighbors, city, and community.
The General Federation of Women's Clubs is an international organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service and GOWC is part of this international organization.
Some local charities that we support:
Interfaith Emergency Services, Arnette House, The Rock Program, Project Hope, Kimberly Center, SOZO Kids, The Ritz Veterans Village, Marion Senior Services, Kids Central, Ft. McCoy and Wyomina Public Schools, Camp Boggy Creek, Boys & Girls Club of Marion County, Marion County Memorial Honor Guard, College of Central Florida, Saving Mercy Corp. just to name a few….
